Have you ever wondered how other players seem to always have enough gold to buy whatever they want? I bet you, like many World of Warcraft players, did. Well, the possible answers are two: either they earned it by playing hours upon hours upon hours — or they were smart and put their hands on a gold guide. Gold guides teach you exactly what you have to do, step by step, to earn as much money as you possibly can.
Now you might be thinking: “But I don’t want to cheat!”. That’s something I totally agree with: cheating is wrong, plain and simple. But using a gold guide is completely legitimate, and can only improve your gaming experience. By having more gold, you can spend more time doing what you enjoy doing in the game. You will have access to anything you need to boost your gaming experience.
Now, of course, you want to know where to find a gold guide and how to choose one. Obviously, no one but you can choose which one you like the most, but using guidelines is very important — you don’t want to make your decision a blind one. So, here are the 5 things I believe are most important in choosing a gold guide.
- Make sure it is legitimate. This is definitely the most important step: the most reputable gold guides are 100% legitimate, but not all guides are reputable. If a guide looks like it might be against Blizzard game policies, or if it asks for your account information, or anything else that seems ‘fishy’, don’t buy it. The best thing would be to do an internet research to assure the guide’s legitimacy.
- Do not buy gold. This is extremely important: a gold guide will not sell you gold directly, it will sell you a way to make gold. Buying gold is illegal, and can get your account banned. I know that it might be tempting sometimes, because you don’t have to work for it, but it’s wrong. Never buy gold, ever. If the possibility of getting your account banned is not enough, you are also cheating and disrespecting other players who earn their in-game money.
- Check for updates. A good guide will be updated constantly — if it comes in online form, instead of downloadable, it’s even better. This is because the game is constantly patched and upgraded, and mechanics change. A strategy that worked six months ago might not work now. And if the guide doesn’t keep up with the game, it is useless.
